Why I Dont Recommend FOS Anymore

FOS is commonly found in many different dietarysupplements. Lots of Candida supplements will have them. There are all kinds of digestiveproducts I've seen with this powder in there. FOS is quite a sweet sort of sugar that'sderived from many different sources. There are different kinds of FOS on the market,and they're widely promoted as a prebiotic to feed the probiotic, so it's a food to feedup the beneficial bacteria. The problem I found with FOS is that a lotof patients actually got worse when they were
on a probiotic containing FOS. I've commonlyused products like this one here, for example. I've used Floracor with AST enzymes. I findit an okay product for some people. But for many people with Candida, they got worse takingthis product. I'm actually stopping using products like this that actually contain inulinin them or fructooligosaccharides, particular for Candida patients and for people with SIBO,small intestinal bowel overgrowth. Patients with lots of leaky gut and food allergieswould need to be very cautious with FOS. That's my advice for you. Make sure you don't takesupplements with FOS in them, if you've got a lot of gut disturbances. FOS is known toactually help stimulate levels of E.coli,
Klebsiella and clostridia and various bacteria.These bacteria can go bad if there are too many of them. They can get really bad indeed,particularly with low levels of beneficial bacteria.For that reason, I recommend you don't take FOS. And when I developed my product, CanxidaRestore, I was sure not to put in any of these prebiotic artificial sugars. I call them artificialbecause they're sort of manmade. You're better off getting these kind of things from yourdiet. What's high in inulin in your diet? Jerusalem artichokes are one the highest containingfoods. Garlic and onions, but they're different kinds of FOS than you will find in a dietarysupplement. Completely different. I certainly
would like you to eat garlic and onions. Ithink they're fine foods to eat because they contain many other factors that are goingto inhibit bacteria, whereas, the FOS will not do that.
