Natural Health Hygiene How to Treat a Yeast Infection Naturally
Yeast infections are common in women, butthey can also be found in children and in men. I'm Lauren Roy for Sugar Hollow Farmin Phillipston, Mass. Yeast infections are very unpleasant. The first thing you needto do if you think you have a yeast infection is have it checked out, diagnosed properly.Be careful taking any of the overthecounter medicines because they can have side effects. You can treat it naturally with acidophilus, which comes in a capsule form. Get the kindthat you have to keep in your refrigerator. And double up on that and that will help balancethe amount of yeast in your body. You can also use yogurt nutritionally as well as topicallyto balance the amount of yeast in your body,
which we all have yeast. It's just that sometimesit overgrows and becomes unpleasant. So you have to bring it back down to a normal amountand it's very helpful to do that naturally. You just eat your yogurt, make sure that it'sthe kind that has the active cultures, and you take your acidophilus, drink plenty ofwater, keep yourself clean, and wear cotton underwear. You also want to make sure thatif you're taking antibiotics, you are also eating yogurt andor taking acidophilus becauseantibiotics can sometimes cause yeast infections. Is Buckwheat Ok On Candida Diet
Greetings. It's naturopath, Eric Bakker, authorof Candida Crusher, formulator of the Canxida range of dietary supplements. I've got a questiontoday from a lady in New York who wants to remain anonymous. Her question is quot;Eric isbuckwheat okay for Candida? Can I eat buckwheat if I've got digestive problems?quot;Actually, you can eat buckwheat, but let's just look at some common sense first. Whenyou're first starting out on a Candida diet approach, you need to first pull back, ofcourse, on the obvious crap out of your diet, the junk. Be careful if you haven't eatengrains like buckwheat or quinoa or oats or amaranth or any of these kinds of grains ornuts or seeds or for that matter, chickpeas
and beans, and things like that. Many peoplewill stop one thing and start something else, and they'll often eat way too much when theyfirst start and then get aggravations. If you haven't eaten buckwheat before, myadvice is to go very slowly with buckwheat flour or buckwheat groats and to eat small, small amounts incorporated into your diet every now and then. Maybe once or twice aweek and then gradually build up until you can tolerate them more. Remember, you're digestiveorgans have to slowly change and develop more enzymes and secrete these to allow these foodsto be broken down properly. The bacteria have to modify and perhaps shift in one directionor another there as well and modify their
colonies and populations to adapt to the kindof new diet as well. It's not just a matter of a mechanical process of swallowing andeating and now I've got a problem. What's wrong with me?The body has to adapt to these things. Just like muscles have to adapt to exercise. Justlike how your endocrine or your hormone system has to adapt to sleeping and work patterns.Everything in the body is about adapting to some kind of stress. So eating a new kindof carbohydrate in the diet, that will be a stress you're putting on the body, so anadaptation has to occur. You have to do that on a gradual process.Be wary of websites that say you can't eat
this and you can't eat that. I've just hada look at about a half a dozen websites that say that buckwheat, quinoa, oats, all of theseare 100 percent strictly forbidden on a Candida diet. Almost sounds like some kind of a preachertalking. Some kind of religious experience, so you can't do this and you can't do that.I love it when people say that. Common sense prevails when it comes to Candida. There arecertainly some quot;yesquot; and quot;noquot;, some quot;cant'squot; and quot;cans.quot; You'd have to be crazy to thinkthat you could drink coca cola on a Candida diet or to drink alcohol on a Candida diet. That's just crazy even believing that. Whether you're religious or not. You'd have to bea knot head to believe that.
In my opinion, it's the same when it comesto grains like quinoa and buckwheat and amaranth. Many people say no and some people say yes.Only you can be the judge of what that grain is going to be like in your digestive systemin terms of any effects it's producing. Buckwheat is okay, but when you're starting out on aCandida diet, go easy on it and gradually build it up. In fact, buckwheat is a verynice grain. I like it. I like millet as well. I like puffed millet and I just like plainmillet. It's very nice to incorporate, to cook, and to add small amounts into saladsand into your diet. We eat a lot of quinoa and it's a beautiful grain to eat. I likeit even cooked in chicken stock. It's a very
tasty addition as a side serve.Oats. I have oats most mornings. And I think small amounts of a steel cut oat are perfectlyfine to have with people with Candida. In fact, when you deny people all these grainsfrom their diet, they quickly get bored with just all vegetables and meats. What a boringdiet. Just meat and vegetables. Very boring. And many people lose weight and energy onthese grain starved diets as well. Buckwheat is okay.Think about soba noodles because they're buckwheat noodles. Soba is quite a nice addition toyour diet as well. Different ways you can incorporate buckwheat into your diet. Buckwheatpancakes, for example, with blueberries are

I'm going to break down top foods to get rid of acne, the top supplements toget rid of acne, the top face wash. Also, the top foods you must get out of your dietimmediately if you want to get rid of your acne for good. One of the main causes of acne today is thebuildup of bad bacteria, yeast and candida in your gut and digestive tract. So if we'regoing to cure candida forever, if we're going
to cure acne forever, there are a few thingsthat you must do. Let me also say this. What are some of the causes of this? You may sayto yourself, quot;I don't know what caused my acne. I don't know what necessarily causedbad bacteria to grow on my body, quot; which again is a major causative factor. I can tell youthis right now. If you have been exposed to or taken antibiotic drugs in the past thatcan be a major causative factor. If you've taken birth control pills, if you've drankchlorinated and fluorinated water, if you've consumed too much sugar, all of these thingscan increase the growth of bad bacteria, yeast and candida within your body.
So let's talk about our number one secretfor getting rid of acne for good. Remove these three foods. Number one, you've got to getsugar out of your diet. Sugar feeds yeast and it feeds candida, so we've got to getthe sugar out of your diet. I recommend getting sugar out and replacing it with stevia. Steviais an allnatural, lowcaloriesno calorie sweetener that you can use instead. So usestevia. If you want to use something that actually has sugar and you're baking or cooking, use raw honey. Raw honey is going to be your best overall sweetener with sugar if you'retrying to get rid of acne. The next food you must get out of your dietto overcome acne is reducing your grain intake,
especially gluten. Gluten can cause inflammationof your intestinal tract. When you have inflammation of your gut it actually shows up on your skin.A lot of people think when you have acne or a problem like eczema, that's just a skinissue. No, that's an intestine issue, that's a gut issue. If we can heal your gut, if wecan kill of the bad bacteria, your acne and problems like eczema would disappear forever. So number one foodwise, get rid of the sugarout of your diet. I'm also talking about really lowering your fruit intake as well, reallyonly consuming berries in moderation for a time being. Lowering your fruit intake, gettingrid of grains or lowering grains, or at least
going gluten free with your grains. And thenthe last thing here is staying away from hydrogenated oils. Obviously, bad fats increase the amountof oil your sebaceous glands on your skin really start to produce. So again, gettingthose bad fats out. If you can do those dietary changes, get thesugar out. Rather than using grains, using products with coconut flour or almond flourare good options rather than hydrogenated oils. Switching over to coconut oil is a greatoption for getting rid of acne. Let's talk about the top foods you've gotto start eating to get rid of your acne for good. Three main foods you want to be gettingin your diet; number one, foods that are high
in fiber. Fiber can actually reduce acne andactually kills off bad bacteria in your gut, increases the growth of good bacteria knownas probiotics which is very important. So fiber is really important to get in your diet.Your best sources of fiber are going to be seeds like chia seeds and flaxseeds, alsonuts like almonds. Those are some great options. And then vegetables. Vegetables and sproutednuts and seeds will help you get rid of acne. Another important aspect of getting rid ofacne for good is balancing out your blood sugar levels. If you're consuming a lot ofsugar it's going to cause your blood sugar to go up and down. That causes bad bacteriato grow, also causing acne. So the next nutritional
