How To Get RID Of Biofilms

Greetings. It's New Zealand naturopath, EricBakker, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of Canxida, the Candida dietary supplementsof choice. Thanks for tuning into my tutorial. Today, we're going to talk about biofilm eradication.You may have seen some of my other tutorials explaining about biofilms, how they are basicallymicro colonies that form of bacteria, yeast, or even a combination of both of those, andthey live in various parts of the body. They can live in the nose. They can cause dentalplaque. They can be involved in vaginal yeast infection, jock itch, in the gut, and manyother areas of the body these colonies can form. And they cover themselves with a particulartype of a layer, and that's why they're called

a biofilm. They can be hard to eradicate.Biofilm eradication really requires a multistage approach. You're not really going to nailthis thing just with one thing. Taking a pill isn't really going to cut it. You need todo a little bit more than that. Let's just go over a few different things you can reallydo to help eradicate biofilm. We have to really prevent a biofilm formationin the first place. We have to really disrupt the attachment of the biofilm to the surfacethat it's adhered to. We have to also interfere with what we call quot;quorum sensing.quot; Quorumsensing is something I've spoken about in a previous tutorial. This is basically how thebugs communicate with each other inside these

colonies. For a colony to really thrive therehas to be a lot of cooperation going on. Food has to go into the colony, and wastes haveto be transported out. And they have to reproduce quite effectively, and quorum sensing is acomplicated term explaining how that cooperation occurs. So we've got to disrupt this cooperation.We have to modulate the type of biofilm. What we've got to do is shift the biofilm to planktonicbacteria. I've spoken previously about what planktonic bacteria and biofilm are. Thinkabout planktonic bacteria or yeast as like yeast or bacteria floating freely versus thebiofilm, where they live in colonies. What we want to do is shift the film into the planktonictype, so the immune system can really nail

these little things getting around in thebloodstream. And we've got to promote detachment of the biofilm to break the biofilm up.We have to disrupt the shield, the actual shield. So think of it like a glass dome andyou've got a city living inside a glass dome. You've got to smash this dome, break it, sowe can get in there, and pull these buildings apart. Mechanical and physical means and alsothere's herbal medicines I recommend that I use that are very effective in smashingthe shield and helping to pulverize these buildings down. And then the last one is developmentof biofilm resistant surfaces. So what we want to really do is give a good course ofprobiotics to help stop attachment of these

bugs onto these surfaces to build the biofilmall over again. As I mentioned previously, people often withvery low levels of beneficial bacteria that I see in stool tests are much more prone toserious biofilm formation. I see that routinely in stool tests. There are many different typesof herbs that I use for biofilm eradication. And I developed a product for Candida, butit also works beautifully for biofilm eradication. And that's called Canxida Remove. It containsall the key things in it you want, and I'll explain more about these kinds of herbal medicinesin subsequent tutorials. But you really want to get a good standardized garlic extract.You want to get oregano oil. You want to get

grapefruit seed extract. You want to use differentkinds of herbs that are specifically indicated for working on bacteria and on Candida, andthey're going to help to break the shield down, disrupt the quorum communication, killdirectly, eradicate, inhibit reproduction, muck up the food supply. All these thingsare going to really be achieved by giving a very good balanced herbal formula in a timereleasedproduct. And that's why I developed Canxida Remove because I knew that most people withserious Candida infections, in fact, have got biofilm.Anyone with chronic Candida will almost certainly have a biofilm in their digestive system thatneeds eradicating and in other parts of their

Main Causes Of Yeast Infections

Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath and authorof Candida Crusher. Thanks for tuning into my tutorial today. Today, I'd like to talk to you about the 11main causes of a yeast infection. The main things that I find that commonly underpina yeast infection when patients come to see me for consultation. To explain a bit more about the causes, itprobably would be good to explain that I find that there are two types of causes with people.What I call the exciting cause and what I call the maintaining cause. The exciting causeis what really starts off the yeast infection;

what begins it all. Because when you thinkabout it, something had to cause the whole problem. It had to start for some reason.You didn't just wake up one day and Oh, I got a yeast infection. It developed and somethinghelped it along. Something created this yeast infection. That's called the exciting cause.If you've had a yeast infection for many years, like a chronic one, it may be hard to rememberthe exciting cause. We'll come back to that later. The second cause is the maintaining cause.This is what you're doing continually to keep it going. This could be a food or a drinkor a lifestyle habit that's contributing to

this continuation of the yeast infection.It's important if I'm going to help you permanently eradicate a yeast infection that you addressboth the exciting and the maintaining causes. Let's talk a little bit about the 11 typesof causes which I commonly see in the . The first one is antibiotics drugs. Antibioticsprobably are the biggest cause of any yeast infection. And not just of yeast infections,but of many different diseases we have today. I think they're the scourge of pharmaceuticaldrugs. While so necessary in many cases, I believe they're completely overprescribedand given far too judiciously and handed out like candy to children. In fact, too manypeople get antibiotics for too many silly

reasons. I've been in my business now 25 yearsand I routinely get mothers coming in, they bring a child in who's had a script for penicillinfor seven days for a tiny little cut on the finger or something ridiculous like that;that tea tree oil could solve. If you're one of these people who routinelytakes antibiotics, you could be in for a rude awakening. You need to be careful of antibioticsbecause they certainly create a lot of problems in the body. We don't call them antibiosisor antilife for no reason. They kill life. They kill a lot of beneficial life. And ifyou keep taking these drugs, you'll find that bacteria and yeast will become increasinglyresistant to the effects of them. It'll be

harder and harder for you to counter thesebugs down the track. I've raised my four children on no antibioticsat all. They've never had antibiotics and they're in great health. We've always reliedon herbal medicines and homeopathies and other treatments, and we've had fantastic results.Then when the kids do get a sore throat or they get sick, we'll give them herbs. We'lldo salt water gargles; they'll quickly recover within two days. I've never resorted to thesedrugs and I don't think that you should jump into them in a hurry. I think you need tobe careful about what you're doing. Antibiotics are the prime cause of many yeast infections.I've seen thousands of people come to me who've

never been well since a prescription of anantibiotic. The second one is antibiotics in meat. Littledo you know that the pork you're eating or the chicken or the beef could well have drugsin it, antibiotics? We know the growth hormone is used in many animals, pork and beef particularly,to stimulate growth. But what you may not be aware of is chicken get loads of antibiotics.If you're buying commercial poultry, it'll be full of antibiotics. The poultry industrywill tell you that these drugs are safe, but I can tell you now, they're not safe at all.They cram these chickens into small cages, keep them in the dark, and feed them on highprotein foods. They spray antibiotic sprays
