Natural Health Hygiene How to Treat a Yeast Infection Naturally
Yeast infections are common in women, butthey can also be found in children and in men. I'm Lauren Roy for Sugar Hollow Farmin Phillipston, Mass. Yeast infections are very unpleasant. The first thing you needto do if you think you have a yeast infection is have it checked out, diagnosed properly.Be careful taking any of the overthecounter medicines because they can have side effects. You can treat it naturally with acidophilus, which comes in a capsule form. Get the kindthat you have to keep in your refrigerator. And double up on that and that will help balancethe amount of yeast in your body. You can also use yogurt nutritionally as well as topicallyto balance the amount of yeast in your body,
which we all have yeast. It's just that sometimesit overgrows and becomes unpleasant. So you have to bring it back down to a normal amountand it's very helpful to do that naturally. You just eat your yogurt, make sure that it'sthe kind that has the active cultures, and you take your acidophilus, drink plenty ofwater, keep yourself clean, and wear cotton underwear. You also want to make sure thatif you're taking antibiotics, you are also eating yogurt andor taking acidophilus becauseantibiotics can sometimes cause yeast infections. Can I Use Vinegar To Cure My Yeast Infection
Question from a lady in Minnesota. This question is can I use vinegar to curemy yeast infection? Vinegar is an excellent substance to use. There are many different types of vinegars you can get, but the one not to use is thecommercial white vinegar you'll find in your supermarket. The best vinegar to use for vaginalinfection is apple cider vinegar, preferably unfiltered, raw, unpasteurized and organic. We've got some very good ones here in New Zealand. I believe Bragg is quite a good brandin America. We've got one in New Zealand called Coral Tree, which is by organically grownapples and traditionally prepared.
Apple cider vinegar has been studied in variousnatural universities around the world, and I read a study recently in 2011 from a universitycalled The Qua Medical University. I believe it was in Iran or Iraq, one of those countries. And the studied showed that, in fact, apple cider vinegar is more effective with vaginalinfections than fluconazole. And the main reason why is because of the acetic acid whichbalances the vaginal PH and also has antifungal activities in its own right. There are manydifferent chemicals in a good quality organic cider vinegar. You normally use between twoto three tablespoons per several cups of water and use that as a douche, so it's very effective. It's certainly a good treatment, but be sure
not to use the commercial white variety. Andsometimes they'll even put molasses in this to make it a brown color, so it's pretty junky. It might be good to clean your toilet or bath with, but I wouldn't really use it internallyor with cooking. So use the proper organic apple cider vinegar; it's a good one to use. So be sure to check out my other tutorials onmy YouTube channel, Candida Crusher.
