Natural Health Hygiene How to Treat a Yeast Infection Naturally
Yeast infections are common in women, butthey can also be found in children and in men. I'm Lauren Roy for Sugar Hollow Farmin Phillipston, Mass. Yeast infections are very unpleasant. The first thing you needto do if you think you have a yeast infection is have it checked out, diagnosed properly.Be careful taking any of the overthecounter medicines because they can have side effects. You can treat it naturally with acidophilus, which comes in a capsule form. Get the kindthat you have to keep in your refrigerator. And double up on that and that will help balancethe amount of yeast in your body. You can also use yogurt nutritionally as well as topicallyto balance the amount of yeast in your body,
which we all have yeast. It's just that sometimesit overgrows and becomes unpleasant. So you have to bring it back down to a normal amountand it's very helpful to do that naturally. You just eat your yogurt, make sure that it'sthe kind that has the active cultures, and you take your acidophilus, drink plenty ofwater, keep yourself clean, and wear cotton underwear. You also want to make sure thatif you're taking antibiotics, you are also eating yogurt andor taking acidophilus becauseantibiotics can sometimes cause yeast infections. Candida Causes Symptoms Treatment by Candida Expert
Hello. It's Eric Bakker. Author of CandidaCrusher. Thank you for tuning into this YouTube tutorial today. Today, I'd like to talk to youa bit about Candida yeast infections. What is Candida? What are Candida yeast infections?Candida is a type of fungus. It's basically a type of yeast. It is quite common for theseyeast to appear and grow inside peoples' bodies, as well as on the surface of their body. Candidais commonly found in the gastrointestinal tract of people and also in the vaginal areaof women. It can also be found in the throat, mouth, and on the skin surfaces of people. It can become quite a problem when it becomes an invasive infection, and particularly inthose who have got a compromised immune system.
As I mentioned, it's a normally occurringyeast that inhabits the gastrointestinal tract of more than 90 percent of people. It's commonlykept in check by beneficial bacteria and other beneficial yeasts. It can migrate quite easilyfrom the vaginal area of women, from the rectal area into the vaginal area and cause vaginalthrush. This is quite a common occurrence with many women. The overgrowth can also affectmen, women, as well as children. This condition can underpin many different chronic illnesses. It's frequently misdiagnosed by many people in the health care profession. It's commonlymisdiagnosed as irritable bowel syndrome and even inflammatory bowel syndrome by lots ofpractitioners. One of the leading causes as
you're going to see in this presentation isantibiotics. Lowgrade stress, in particular, chronic ongoing stress is often one of thebig causes of a yeast infection. But so are diets that can be laden in sugar and yeasts. Here, you can actually see a picture of Candida, the particular form. You can see the littlebuds here that can break off and grow into new yeasts. Candida is quite an amazing organismwith how it can reproduce and spread through the body, and it can evade detection by theimmune system. It's very clever how it can mutate, change, grow, and evade destructionby the immune system. What are some of the main causes of a Candidayeast infection? Well, these are the main
11 causes, and you can also see another YouTubetutorial on this particular slide here. Antibiotic drugs are one of the leading causes of yeastinfection. Since the advent of antibiotics, there has been a very big increase in yeastinfections in people right across the board. Antibiotics in meat are quite incredible howmuch antibiotics are used in poultry, for example. Many thousands of kilograms of antibioticsare used every year in America and many countries across the world in the food chain, as wellas pharmaceutical drugs. Antibiotics found in foods are big causes of yeast infectionsbecause they kill beneficial bacteria and allow yeast to thrive.Underlying immune deficiencies. Some people
are actually born with immune weaknesses thatcan predispose them to a yeast infection. Steroid drugs or other pharmaceutical drugscan undermine a person's health and be a causative factor. Alcohol is a huge cause of yeast infections.Men who drink beer regularly and women or men who drink wine or beer can be particularlyprone to yeast infections. Particularly those who are under stress, taking antibiotics, consume reasonable amounts of alcohol. You don't have to be a big drinker to get a yeastinfection. But maintaining regular alcohol consumption along with sweet foods, breads, candies, chocolates, these things can all predispose you to a yeast infection. Candidafriendly diets are diets high in soda drinks,
ice cream, bagels, donuts, packaged cereals, jelly, or JellO; take away foods, all these sorts of diets can contribute to a Candidayeast infection. Stress can be a huge causative factor. Stressactually can cause a depletion of the hormone quot;cortisolquot; long term, and cortisol is a veryimportant steroid hormone produced by the adrenal gland, which has a very powerful effecton creating a strong immune presence in the body. With chronic ongoing stress, we cancommonly find a person has an increased susceptibility to a yeast infection.Exposure to toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, mercury fillings has been linked with theliberation of methyl mercury in the mouth.
Doing This ONE Thing Can Cause Severe Candida DieOff
Greetings. It's Eric Bakker, naturopath fromNew Zealand. Author of Candida Crusher and the formulator of the Canxida range of dietarysupplements. Thanks for checking out my tutorial today. I'm making this tutorial because overthe years, I've had patients on and off that I notice end up with severe aggravations whenthey're on the Candida cleanse. Regardless whether they're on a Candida diet or the CandidaCrusher diet or whatever kind of a Candida cleansing approach, some people end up witha severe aggravation and severe die off. Now, this is one patient in particular whomI had yesterday on Skype. Of course, I won't mention her name, the country, or any detailsabout her, but she was quite happy to discuss
her case anonymously with the public. Thislady still has got quite a major yeast infection, vaginal yeast infection, intestinal yeastinfection, probably systemic yeast infection, and for many years, she's been treated bydifferent practitioners and she's been taking fluconazole on and off for a long time. Recently, she's been on a strict diet, and then occasionally, she'll break out of the diet. So then, sheapproached me. My recommendations were for her to go nice and easy on the treatment andgradually build treatment up. And what this poor lady did is she droppedthe treatment she was doing entirely and went on a very powerful cleansing regime. She startedto take right off the bat, 60 drops of grapefruit
seed extract per day, 6 capsules of oreganooil per day, one liter of a very strong antifungal tea, different kinds of tea she was drinking,5 tablespoons of coconut oil, and a very strict diet. All carbs were gone. It was like a meatdiet with some eggs in it. Literally within a couple of days, she felt unwell, but shekept the treatment going and pushing and pushing. She ended up in the emergency room. She thoughtshe was dying of a heart attack. She had chest pains, she had facial pains, and she couldn'tsleep. I think it lasted almost two weeks this headache. It was a severe headache onone side of the face. She thought her head was going to explode. She was vomiting. Shecouldn't sleep. She had severe aggravations.
Well, these things can come about when youdo a 360, when you do an about turn, and do a very abrupt stop of everything you're doingand a very abrupt start of everything new and in particular in high dosages. You cancause a serious aggravation. This is not what I want people to do. And in my book, I'vewritten about this on many occasions that you're better off to slowly wind down, especiallyif you're eating a poor diet, just slowly take your diet down over a two or three weekperiod and gently introduce new foods. And at that time, it's probably not a good ideato put antifungal treatment in right from day one. You're better off cleaning yourselfup a little bit in terms of diet and lifestyle
and then putting an antifungal approach inthere. And when you do, you start on a low dose if you have severe Candida, then yougradually build up. It may take two or three weeks before you can start taking even a reasonableamount of antifungal. I've had this same thing with people takingmy Canxida Remove and Canxida Restore products. Some people will start, they take 12 straightaway,so they'll get the bottle, and they'll take three tablets, 2 hours later another three, then another three. Some people seem to think that if you take a huge amount of something, you're going to hurry up and quickly get the cleanse over and done with. You're going tokill all the Candida in your body. This is
a stupid way of thinking. If you want to feelreally sick and get bad aggravations, go ahead, take lots and lots of things. Make lots andlots of changes abruptly. It's not a good idea. For example, if you're going to join a gym or going to get fit, you're not going to goto the gym on day one and do three hours of weights and then go out and do 50 miles ona bike, and then a week later, you won't be able to walk for a month. No. You don't dothat. You go very slowly into exercise. Very slowly and get a reasonable level of fitness, then build that fitness up gradually until you become increasingly fit. And who knows,in six months, you may be able to do a quarter
