Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, authorof Candida Crusher. Thank you for tuning into this tutorial today. You may have seen some of my previous tutorialsregarding menls yeast infections. Ilve made a few recently regarding jock itch. Anotherpopular tutorial which many people have looked at is one regarding small white bumps on thepenis. In this tutorial today, Ilm going to talk about a condition I see quite a lot in malesand is basically an itching area of the private parts again of the penis and also scrotaland analrectal areas. These tutorial clips Ilm going to do becausetheylre very important and you can understand
why Ilve disabled comments on many of my tutorials. Many YouTube clips I look at are from health care professionals like myself that have gottenvery inappropriate comments. Thatls why I donlt believe I should enable comments onthese tutorials. Pardon me for taking that liberty. Letls continue on. This is an important tutorialbecause this is a condition I see in many men, and this is a condition that not manypeople talk about due to fear or embarrassment. But I can tell you people out there now, womensuffer from yeast infections; we know that, but lots of guys suffer from them, too. Andthey hate them. Theylre embarrassing. Theylre uncomfortable. They just find them awful, but they live with them; they deal with them.
And they go and see their and oftenget a cream and itls ineffective. The causes arenlt addressed and the condition goes onunabated and sometimes for years, and it can ruin a guyls life entirely. Ilve seen dozens and dozens, hundreds of menwith this condition. Let me tell you now folks, this affects men from all backgrounds, allincomes, all cultures; it makes no difference whether you are Indian, Muslim, American,or Irish, it makes no difference. If youlre a male and youlve got a penis, youlve gota – obviously you have if youlre a male – a typical guy can be prone to a yeastinfection if the conditions are right. Remember,
yeast likes dark; it likes moist; it likeswarmth. And for this reason, obviously, the groin and the private area and the armpits, these are prime targets for Candida yeast infections. The guys Ilve seen with yeast infections rangeover a wide range of men that Ilve seen with this condition. Ilve seen lots of mechanicswith it. Constructions workers, geologists, taxi drivers, bus drivers, truck drivers;Ilve seen airline pilots with it. Ilve even seen scientists with it and lab workers. Ilvegot a couple of high court judges and many police officers; many, many different menhave this condition. And thatls because men
are men. Men like beer. They like wine. Theylike spirits. They like eating the foods that guys like to eat. They like football. Theylike hunting. They like all the things that guys like to do. As I say, it will not discriminate. This condition is not specific to a particular bluecollar worker or a laborer; it makesno difference what type of guy you are. How is a man going to get the infection? Well, the typical things we find are imbalances in the lifestyle. You may have read the casehistory of my father in my book. Dad liked sweet foods. He wasnlt really a big alcoholdrinker, but he loved sugary foods. He liked a cigarette. He liked snacking on foods. Andhe didnlt pay a lot of attention to what the
said because the was king, wasgod, the gave drugs, the never mentioned about a lifestyle, which his unfortunate. Men, for example, who drink alcohol, are primetargets for yeast infections, particularly, when they start taking antibiotics or pharmaceuticalsregularly. Men who take drugs for acidification of the stomach – these acid blockers – arealso prime targets. Guys who take any type of pharmaceutical drug over time. Guys whotend to work long hours or shift workers. Men who wear tight clothing, coveralls, forexample, or sit for long periods of time, who eat at weird times, wholve got shift work, who push their bodies hard. They go hunting
Jock Itch Causes Symptoms Treatment by Expert Eric Bakker
Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, authorof Candida Crusher. Thank you for tuning into my tutorial today. Today, we're going to talk about men's yeastinfections, particularly jock itch or itch around the men's private parts, around thescrotum, around the penis, around those areas. This is a condition I see quite frequentlyin males. A condition that drives a lot of guys crazy. In fact, I've had two cases inthe last two days. One a 44yearold male not far from where I live here in New Zealandand another guy in his late 40s from Wellington, which is the capital of New Zealand. Bothof these cases are quite similar. This is
going to be quite an interesting tutorial, particularlyfor males who've got itch in their groin region and have had no resolution. Let's start with this 44yearold guy. It'squite an interesting case and many men will be able to relate to this in particular. Thisguy had an itch that started about a year ago, and it just started around his belt line. He's a hydraulic person, so he's an engineer that deals with hydraulics and repairing trucksand things like that. This guy went to his ; he had a bitof an itch around the belt line, which quickly spread to the groin region. The hada look at this skin rash and did a biopsy
and said, quot; You've got contact dermatitis.quot; He sent this man away with a bunch of creams. I've just made some case notes here. Thispatient came back to the in three weeks and the condition was not improved. So the patient got sent to a skin specialist, called a dermatologist. The patient then got told by the dermatologist it was scabies, which is a mite infection. Again, more creams were prescribed. And again, the same thing, patient came back to the specialist, wasn't going away with the creams, this time wentto another specialist. And this specialist said it was psoriasis.Quite interesting. This gave strong
drugs, steroids, which really knocked thepatient around quite a lot. The patient improved but wasn't interested in taking steroids andthe patient then went to another . This is number four now. And this said, quot; You've got a fungal skin rash.quot; Finally, we got the correct diagnosis. But what didthe do? He put this man on antibiotics, which I find quite interesting. Antibioticsare not something one would generally give for a fungal rash that he or she has diagnosedas a fungal rash. They will normally give an antifungal drug, but in this case, the decided to give a penicillin based antibiotic. And the condition exploded andnow it went all over his torso, upper back,
neck, around the ears, scalp, all over. I'll call him Gary. Gary said a few days afterstarting treatment, he had a shower and his whole body blew up in a terrible skin rash.Since then, he's been to about 14 different people. You're looking at a guy that's beento about 20 practitioners all up with no resolution. Interesting case. Upon examination of the patient, I had nodoubt in my mind that it's a Candida fungal skin infection of the groin and various partsof the body. I found it interesting that nobody offered Gary any advice regarding his dietand lifestyle. Even the natural practitioners
he went to offered only a small amount ofadvice here. My instruction to Gary was to wash the genitalregion, particularly, twice per day with a good tea tree oil based soap and also to usea watersoluble tea tree oil to wash the private area and to spot treat the tough areas withtea tree oil. This was to be done at least twice per day. I also recommended to Garyto go out and buy about 20 pairs of new cotton boxer shorts and to put on new underwear atleast twice per day. This is very important if you're a guy with a fungal yeast infectionis to maintain very good hygiene. Change your clothing often.
