Acupuncture Is a successful Yeast Infection Treatment

Text on screen: Acupuncture How to Eliminate Yeast Infections, Thrush, and other CandidiasisRelated Conditions from Your Life Forever Chapter Two: What is Acupuncture How does it work to treat yeast infections? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Do you know what acupuncture does? Do you know anything about the history of acupuncture? FAITH: A little bit. I mean, I know that it has to do with energy and you have to have needles put in your body in different places. NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: It's an ancient art, but it's a science and it's very, very effective. The way it works is by, of course, placing metallic needles in the body. And we are a body electric; we're an electromagnetic being. And these needles send signals through the body and it basically awakens a natural blueprint that your body has innately and your body knows. And so, the needles effectively help you to connect with the part of you that is your natural healer, that knows the balance, that knows how things function.

And each needle is placed in a particular point that has, actually, a spirit name. And so when we take a history, when we think about how we are going to approach this patient, it's unique to the patient in that we think about these spirit names and how this patient has been fractured or hurt or on a physical level has pain in a certain area of the body. And so at that point we know where to place those needles, and that is what your body needs in order to reconnect with the natural blueprint that you were innately born with. FAITH: OK. And how young can a person start receiving acupuncture? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Oh, you know. Sometimes babies can run fevers. I've certainly treated a lot of babies. Children can get very sick in life and acupuncture's very effective for pediatrics. Through puberty, the stress level today in the children and the teenagers is very high, and I certainly treat a lot of teenagers very effectively. FAITH: So, you talk about being a; connecting everything, so somewhere along the way there was a disconnect because of situations along… NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Stress; 99 percent of all illness is stress. So some level of stress got into that person, into yourself or anyone that's just displaying symptoms or has a disease state. FAITH: So, again, would part of this also be learning to manage your stress along with, or reduce your stress along with the acupuncture?

NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Sure, absolutely. Sometimes the stress even belonged to someone you were with: a boss or a parent, and you take it on. So of course, yes. Do you have any questions about how acupuncture works, or do you know about it? FAITH: Actually, I just know that there are needles and, I mean, I've heard some people say it doesn't hurt. Some of them say there's a little sting, you know. But then they say it's all over the body at different places for different problems. So, yeah, I'm a little nervous about how it's gonna feel, and… NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Well, here in California we're welltrained. You know, it's six years of school to get the license. And we have a ; we see a lot of women that come into our . So, yeast infection is commonly treated by acupuncturists so we have a lot of experience with that. And as for the acupuncture needles being something that you might be uncomfortable with, they're very thin; they're the size of a hair. And when we insert them we usually use guide tubes, so it's really relatively painless. The one thing that you do feel is you'll feel a distending, kinda achy feeling when we get what we call chi at the end of the needle. And we need to do that in order to move the channel energy, which is basically what's going on with acupuncture is that we're inserting needles in the body related to the nervous system but not entirely part of the nervous system.

And what happens is it's like catching a fish on the line when you're out fishing; you feel that tug, initially. You'll feel that after I insert the needle. You'll feel kind of a distending. FAITH: Will it be pain? So it won't be, really, pain? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: It's different. You have to educate yourself. At first, it will be unfamiliar. So you might want to rush into thinking that, quot;Oh, is this painful? Well, no, actually, no.quot; So you know, you get used to it. And it's kind of an achy feeling. And that's what we want. If we don't get that, we're not really giving a treatment that can be as effective as if we do get that. And sometimes some needles are more guide needles so we need to get the chi effect at that needle more than, say, another needle. FAITH: How deep does it go? Is each one different? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: Every situation calls for a different, kind of, sized needle maybe a different depth, so we're going to put them in in a way where they don't even break blood vessels. Because they're rounded at the tip, they aren't pointed like a hypodermic needle, so when they are inserted it usually pushes everything out of the way in the way that we insert them.

FAITH: And how long for each treatment? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON: About 45 minutes. Sometimes we retain the needles for 30 minutes, but usually about 45 minutes. And we try to use as few as possible, so, you know, we don't put a lot of needles in. Maybe six to eight. That's about it. FAITH: OK. I do have a question: Why do the overthecounter treatments. Why, in your opinion, or your expert opinion, do they; have they not worked? And do they work for some women? NANCY ANANDA STEVENSON:Well, I think that they do work for some women. Some women just have; they can have an issue where, you know, they just got married and quot;honeymoon syndromequot; or something. Or, you know, they took antibiotics and they never really took antibiotics and they developed a yeast infection. Some women go on birth control pills and birth control pills are something they're not used to and they develop one. There can be varying reasons. Maybe it's very hot and they're wearing the wrong kind of underwear, you know; there can just be a lot of issues. And so for somebody with a chronic one, it's usually more of a systemic problem and it's related to stress and it can be kind of a psychoemotional issue or it also can be just the way somebody is just operating their life and they might have more of a sympathetic reaction to life. How to Cure Candida in 6 Steps

Hey, guys. Axe here, of functionalmedicine and founder of DrAxe . Today I'm going to share with you the exact diet, treatmentand supplements you need to take the clear Candida from your body. And this is what Ireally consider to be my SixStep Candida Cure Diet Protocol. And you're going to seeamazing results with this protocol. And let me say this first, what is Candida?Candida is the overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria in your body and it can cause somemajor symptoms that you want to get rid of. And so some of the symptoms of Candida caninclude any type of fatigue issue. If you struggle with chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, those can be related to Candida.

Any type of leaky gut issue. Leaky gut isintestinal permeability, where proteins like gluten can leak through your gut and causeinflammation of your body. So if you have food sensitivities or if you have digestiveissues like gas and bloating, also if you have any problem related to the thyroid, thosecan be warning signs you have Candida. Also if you get yeast in your body. If younotice, let's say, yeast or whiteness on your tongue or if you ever get chronic yeast infectionsor coming down with the cold and flu often, those can be warning signs that you have Candida. And, of course, also with Candida any sort of other digestive issues, like irritablebowel syndrome or chronic diarrhea or constipation

or even acid reflux, those are warning signsthat you might have Candida. And last but not least, is a sluggish metabolism. If you aren't losing weight and burning fat like you know you should be, those are warningsigns you could have Candida, along with actually even bad breath and lack of detoxification. Those are some major warning signs. So here are the six things you need to do to eliminateCandida fast. Number one, you need to stop consuming somuch sugar. Now, I know that's obvious. That's something that I think most of us realizeis that sugar feeds yeast in your body. But again, you have got to get rid of processedsugar, fruit juices, any sort of added sugar

to any sort of product sweetener. Even mostpackaged products and fast foods are also high in sugar. Even things like pasta saucesand crackers, you'd be surprised, but sugar is added to almost everything. So again, eliminate especially the processedsugar out of your diet. As a replacement, I recommend using a little bit of Stevia, which is a nocalorie natural sweetener and then about one to three teaspoons a day ofmanuka honey. Okay? Those are the sweeteners you should be using if you have Candida. Number two. You need to eliminate grains fromyour diet. Why? Because grains turn into sugar

and they also tend to be more inflammatory. And so again, getting those grains out of your diet, especially wheat products and glutencontaininggrains, that's step number two. Instead, do a lot more vegetables and maybe some starchycarbs. Number three thing you have to do to clearCandida from you system, is support your spleen. Now, this is cuttingedge information thata lot of people don't realize. And this is a practice in Ancient China that is oftenused by acupuncturists today. But they have found that the number one cause of Candidais a weakened spleen. And so if you have spleen issues, and spleen is responsible for digestionof the body, producing red blood cells in

your system. And so the spleen is a very importantorgan. In order to support the spleen, there area couple things you need to do. But really the spleen is supported by starchy foods, especially squash, things like sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and also even doing certaintypes of beans like lentils and mung beans. So again, getting some of those good starchycarbs. And that's really where your sweetness shouldcome from. A little bit of butternut squash, acorn squash, foods like that that has thatmild sweetness. That's the only sweet you should be really getting in your diet. Again, with no processed sugar and, again, very low

Coconut Oil for Candida Does Coconut Oil Kill Candida

Thank you for checking out my tutorial. I'm goingto talk about coconut oil today. Coconut oil has become very popular, almost a trend likePaleo diets and low carb diets. It was popular particularly because of a book written bya guy called Bruce Fife from 2005. I think it was called quot;Coconut Cure: The Preventionand Treatment of Common Ailments Using Coconut.quot; Fife did many people a huge favor by publishingthis book. When you think about 2005, well, it's 2015, it's only 10 years ago and coconuthas become really a household name with many, many people.I can remember recommending coconut back in the 80s and 90s and people thought Iwas nuts. Recommending coconut oil. It's a

saturated fat. It's going to create heartdisease. How stupid recommending this for people. One had a strong disagreementwith me saying, quot; You're nuts giving people coconut oil. You'll get heart disease, heartattacks from it. It causes cancer and bowel problems.quot; And I've discovered this same now many years later is recommending coconut oil, funny how things turn right around. Finally, coconut has been vindicated. Finally now we're seeing it really now as a health food, whereit should be. Coconut oil really is a saturated fat, butit's not an animal, it's a plantbased saturated fat. It's medium chain triglycerides. It containslarge amounts of fatty acids like lauric acid

and Caprylic acid, and these fatty acids havevery good antifungal properties. There's lot of research from many different countriesaround the world now, from England, from American, from Nigeria, from Singapore, all that validatethis as being a very good product to use for fungus, but it also has shown to have antibacterialproperties. Make sure, when you get coconut oil that youdon't get one that's been processed, particularly hydrogenated. A lot of cookies and cheap crappyproducts you'll buy in the supermarket will contain fractioned or very heated up coconutoil, and that itself is very dangerous because you can get a lot of free radical damage. The membranes of the cells are made up of

fats, and when you consume too many of thesehydrogenated fats or fats that have been superheated, you can damage the cell membranes of yourcells. Having a virgin coconut oil, one that's been minimally processed and minimally damaged, you're going to do your body a lot of good taking this product in. There are far toomany properties about coconut oil for me to talk about on this tutorial, but all I can sayto you is make sure that you get a really good quality coldpressed or virgin coconutoil that's minimally processed. Both Bruce Fife, as well as WilliamCrook, who wrote the quot; The Yeast Connectionquot; in the 80s, both of these s recommendedyou start with a small amount of coconut oil

when you consume it. So start maybe with ateaspoon per day and gradually build up until you can take up to three tablespoons per dayand you watch what happens. People with severe Candida may get quite ill if they increasethe dosage too soon. If you've got major jock itch or major vaginal thrush, major intestinalbloating and gas, lots of skin problems, lots of brain fog, please start slowly on a teaspoonper day for two to three weeks. Gradually build up in that two to three week perioduntil you can take a tablespoon per day. When you can hit a tablespoon per day in say twoor three weeks, then you can slowly increase until you can hit two tablespoons per day.Don't be in a hurry. That's what I'm trying

to say to you. Take your time.Coconut oil is also wonderful to use around the private areas for a lubricant. I recommendpeople massage it around their feet, even in their scalp, around their ears. It's fantasticfor psoriasis. It's great for eczema. It's a great moisturizer for the skin in general. It's a supremely good oil to take for many different reasons and it smells divine. It'snice in smoothies, too. With some pure vanilla essence and some blueberries, you put a bitof coconut oil in there. You can use it in coconut flour in cooking. There's a 101 waysyou can use coconut oil. Just go to Google and check it out.I hope that gives you a little bit of insight
