Main Causes Of Yeast Infections

Hi there, Eric Bakker, naturopath and authorof Candida Crusher. Thanks for tuning into my tutorial today. Today, I'd like to talk to you about the 11main causes of a yeast infection. The main things that I find that commonly underpina yeast infection when patients come to see me for consultation. To explain a bit more about the causes, itprobably would be good to explain that I find that there are two types of causes with people.What I call the exciting cause and what I call the maintaining cause. The exciting causeis what really starts off the yeast infection;

what begins it all. Because when you thinkabout it, something had to cause the whole problem. It had to start for some reason.You didn't just wake up one day and Oh, I got a yeast infection. It developed and somethinghelped it along. Something created this yeast infection. That's called the exciting cause.If you've had a yeast infection for many years, like a chronic one, it may be hard to rememberthe exciting cause. We'll come back to that later. The second cause is the maintaining cause.This is what you're doing continually to keep it going. This could be a food or a drinkor a lifestyle habit that's contributing to

this continuation of the yeast infection.It's important if I'm going to help you permanently eradicate a yeast infection that you addressboth the exciting and the maintaining causes. Let's talk a little bit about the 11 typesof causes which I commonly see in the . The first one is antibiotics drugs. Antibioticsprobably are the biggest cause of any yeast infection. And not just of yeast infections,but of many different diseases we have today. I think they're the scourge of pharmaceuticaldrugs. While so necessary in many cases, I believe they're completely overprescribedand given far too judiciously and handed out like candy to children. In fact, too manypeople get antibiotics for too many silly

reasons. I've been in my business now 25 yearsand I routinely get mothers coming in, they bring a child in who's had a script for penicillinfor seven days for a tiny little cut on the finger or something ridiculous like that;that tea tree oil could solve. If you're one of these people who routinelytakes antibiotics, you could be in for a rude awakening. You need to be careful of antibioticsbecause they certainly create a lot of problems in the body. We don't call them antibiosisor antilife for no reason. They kill life. They kill a lot of beneficial life. And ifyou keep taking these drugs, you'll find that bacteria and yeast will become increasinglyresistant to the effects of them. It'll be

harder and harder for you to counter thesebugs down the track. I've raised my four children on no antibioticsat all. They've never had antibiotics and they're in great health. We've always reliedon herbal medicines and homeopathies and other treatments, and we've had fantastic results.Then when the kids do get a sore throat or they get sick, we'll give them herbs. We'lldo salt water gargles; they'll quickly recover within two days. I've never resorted to thesedrugs and I don't think that you should jump into them in a hurry. I think you need tobe careful about what you're doing. Antibiotics are the prime cause of many yeast infections.I've seen thousands of people come to me who've

never been well since a prescription of anantibiotic. The second one is antibiotics in meat. Littledo you know that the pork you're eating or the chicken or the beef could well have drugsin it, antibiotics? We know the growth hormone is used in many animals, pork and beef particularly,to stimulate growth. But what you may not be aware of is chicken get loads of antibiotics.If you're buying commercial poultry, it'll be full of antibiotics. The poultry industrywill tell you that these drugs are safe, but I can tell you now, they're not safe at all.They cram these chickens into small cages, keep them in the dark, and feed them on highprotein foods. They spray antibiotic sprays

How Do You Diagnose Yeast Infections

Hi there, Eric Bakker, author of Candida Crusher.Thanks for tuning into this tutorial today. Today, I'd like to talk to you a bit aboutdiagnosing yeast infections. On how to diagnose yeast infections, the importance of diagnosingyeast infection. You may be a person who has a particular interestin trying to understand if he or she has a yeast infection, and what are the best waysto go about diagnosing this yeast infection. Up until fairly recently, a lack of scientificevidence of very high quality, scientifically validated tests have certainly affected usfrom really trying to work out if a patient did have a yeast infection or not. There aremany different tests you can do. I've completed

over a thousand stool tests on patients overthe years, and don't tend to test as much as I used to test these days unless I've gotparticular cases or severe cases of long duration. I will often still do a stool test for thatreason. But in many cases, the signs and symptoms and the presenting pattern that the patientcomes into the with will often be enough for me to understand if they've got a significantyeast infection or not. For you, it may be very important at hometo work out quot;Do I have a yeast infection or don't I have one?quot; What are the best waysto go about that? If you look at Chapter 3 in my book, Candida Crusher, you'll find avery extensive list of signs and symptoms

of the common ones and the not so common ones.You'll also find sections on how to diagnose yeast infections in or how to recognize thispattern in children, men and women. And you're going to find some interesting stuff there;things that you may not have even thought about. Many practitioners tend to overlook many ofthe subtle signs of a Candida yeast infection. They only look for the very obvious patternslike skin itching or diarrhea or bowel problems. But many people tend to forego one of thesymptoms that we could easily pass off as something else. And one of those, in particular,is brain fog or what some people call quot;fibro

fogquot;, a fibromyalgia fog. Brain fog is somethingI see particularly common with a lot of chronic cases. Joint inflammation, painful muscles,visual disturbances, black spots before the eyes, popping sounds in the ears, the listgoes on and on, and you can read that in Chapter 3 of my book and yeastinfection will alsohave a relatively good list of signs and symptoms and other things to pick up for. I certainlyencourage you to have a look at that site, and particularly my book, for a lot more information. In tutorials up ahead, I'm going to go to intomuch more detail about conventional testing and diagnosing of yeast infections. Explaina bit more about that; explain about the two

different types of blood tests that swill do, a urine test, the stool test. I'll also talk about functional medicine testingor testing that I do, stool testing in particular, which I find very, very useful for pickinga whole raft of information up off the patient to really allow me to accurately pinpointtreatment. I think you're going to find stool testing quite beneficial. Please read the information that you findon my site, yeastinfection . And if that's not enough for you, there's plenty of informationon that site. You can always get my book, Candida Crusher. And please join our mailinglist if you've not already joined my mailing

list. This tutorial will be part of an extensiveCandida Crusher educational course which I'm offering online for free for people if youdon't wish to purchase my book just yet or maybe later but want a lot of good free information.This will be one tutorial in a series of many tutorials for such people to learn. We're talking about diagnosing yeast infectionstoday, but as I said, there'll be tutorials coming up on stool testing and conventional testingas part of this series.
