How to Cure Candida in 6 Steps

Hey, guys. Axe here, of functionalmedicine and founder of DrAxe . Today I'm going to share with you the exact diet, treatmentand supplements you need to take the clear Candida from your body. And this is what Ireally consider to be my SixStep Candida Cure Diet Protocol. And you're going to seeamazing results with this protocol. And let me say this first, what is Candida?Candida is the overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria in your body and it can cause somemajor symptoms that you want to get rid of. And so some of the symptoms of Candida caninclude any type of fatigue issue. If you struggle with chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, those can be related to Candida.

Any type of leaky gut issue. Leaky gut isintestinal permeability, where proteins like gluten can leak through your gut and causeinflammation of your body. So if you have food sensitivities or if you have digestiveissues like gas and bloating, also if you have any problem related to the thyroid, thosecan be warning signs you have Candida. Also if you get yeast in your body. If younotice, let's say, yeast or whiteness on your tongue or if you ever get chronic yeast infectionsor coming down with the cold and flu often, those can be warning signs that you have Candida. And, of course, also with Candida any sort of other digestive issues, like irritablebowel syndrome or chronic diarrhea or constipation

or even acid reflux, those are warning signsthat you might have Candida. And last but not least, is a sluggish metabolism. If you aren't losing weight and burning fat like you know you should be, those are warningsigns you could have Candida, along with actually even bad breath and lack of detoxification. Those are some major warning signs. So here are the six things you need to do to eliminateCandida fast. Number one, you need to stop consuming somuch sugar. Now, I know that's obvious. That's something that I think most of us realizeis that sugar feeds yeast in your body. But again, you have got to get rid of processedsugar, fruit juices, any sort of added sugar

to any sort of product sweetener. Even mostpackaged products and fast foods are also high in sugar. Even things like pasta saucesand crackers, you'd be surprised, but sugar is added to almost everything. So again, eliminate especially the processedsugar out of your diet. As a replacement, I recommend using a little bit of Stevia, which is a nocalorie natural sweetener and then about one to three teaspoons a day ofmanuka honey. Okay? Those are the sweeteners you should be using if you have Candida. Number two. You need to eliminate grains fromyour diet. Why? Because grains turn into sugar

and they also tend to be more inflammatory. And so again, getting those grains out of your diet, especially wheat products and glutencontaininggrains, that's step number two. Instead, do a lot more vegetables and maybe some starchycarbs. Number three thing you have to do to clearCandida from you system, is support your spleen. Now, this is cuttingedge information thata lot of people don't realize. And this is a practice in Ancient China that is oftenused by acupuncturists today. But they have found that the number one cause of Candidais a weakened spleen. And so if you have spleen issues, and spleen is responsible for digestionof the body, producing red blood cells in

your system. And so the spleen is a very importantorgan. In order to support the spleen, there area couple things you need to do. But really the spleen is supported by starchy foods, especially squash, things like sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and also even doing certaintypes of beans like lentils and mung beans. So again, getting some of those good starchycarbs. And that's really where your sweetness shouldcome from. A little bit of butternut squash, acorn squash, foods like that that has thatmild sweetness. That's the only sweet you should be really getting in your diet. Again, with no processed sugar and, again, very low

Candida Foods To Avoid Foods You Should Avoid With Candida Diet

Greetings. It's Eric Bakker, naturopath fromNew Zealand, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of the Canxida range of dietarysupplements. Thanks for checking out part two of the tutorial today. This tutorial serieson what to eat and what to avoid with Candida. I've produced these two tutorials for a personcalled Tom Rutherford from Texas, who has actually emailed me. Eric, what can I eat? What should I avoid? So Tom, I hope you've checked out my first tutorial and had a goodlook at that. This is really part two, the foods to avoid with Candida.Well, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out what you need to avoid with Candida. You know what to avoid with Candida. It's

the foods that you look around and you seeother people eat, other people that complain about bad health, people that complain aboutbloating and gas and fatigue, bowel problems. People who go to the looking for differentkinds of medications for relief. Most people I see say the same thing to me. I thoughtyou were going to say that. I had a feeling you were going to tell me to stop drinking.I had a feeling you were going to tell me that I can't have three candy bars every day.Every patient I see with a chronic health problem has got some kind of habit underpinningthat health problem, and often there will be a dietary indiscretion and there will bea lifestyle indiscretion. And when you peel

those layers back, there will be some kindof stress underpinning that. I've spoken enough now in my tutorials aboutthe relationship with stress and chronic Candida. There is no doubt about it. Every single caseof ongoing Candida I see there is usually some kind of unresolved issue underlying that.I had three patients from the U.S. yesterday, and one patient, in particular, I saw hasgot a public service job. I said, Do you like it? He said, I hate it. I hatemy job. And I said, Well, why would you stay in a job that you hate? I don'tknow. I haven't decided to get out of it yet. Now, he's had Candida for a long time. Thisguy is on an amazingly good diet and he's

been on it for some time, and he can't understandwhy after three or four naturopaths and two s, no one has helped him to resolvethis problem. And basically, when I told him that the job's got to go, the diet doesn't.I think he understood what I was alluding to.Maybe you're a person looking at this right now who's on a perfect diet. You've been toa really good naturopath or the best in town who's given you an incredible diet. You've been to maybe a psychotherapist or a counselor. You've been to a chiropractor. You've been to all these kinds of people and yet you're still not right and you're stilleating the best foods. Try to understand that

it's a lot more than just food that you needto eat and to avoid to get rid of Candida. That's the secret.Let's delve into the foods you need to avoid now. I've written quite extensively on thisin my book, but I'm going to go through a list of different things that I think you'llknow when I read these out or mention these. These are the foods that can affect you quitebadly, and it's not necessarily the quantity of these foods that you eat or the frequencyof foods that you eat. It's how much you're enjoying these foods, so you've got to stopthe relationship that you've got with that food. You've got to stop it. We have relationshipswith foods. I don't know if you realize that.

Just like we have relationships with people. And sometimes people can really piss us off. We can have bad relationships with people. We can have good relationships with people. And sometimes when we sever those relationshipsor change them, it's like a breath of fresh air. What food do you really enjoy eating that's a naughty food, that's a bad food, a foodthat you shouldn't be eating? Is it a chocolate bar? Is it peanut butter? Is it going to thecupboard and getting a slice of bread and putting peanut butter and jam on it? Is itgoing to the refrigerator and having a glass of milk two or three times a day? Is it reallywanting that beer or wine at the end of the

Candida Foods To Eat Best Foods To Eat With Candida Diet

Greetings. It's Eric Bakker, naturopath fromNew Zealand and author of Candida Crusher. Thanks for checking out my tutorial today. Asyou can imagine, I get an incredible amount of emails from patients from all around theworld from many different countries, particularly from the United States of America. I get lotsof frequently asked questions. I've got a question here from a guy called Tom Rutherfordin Texas, and Tom is asking me, Eric, what are the best foods to eat if I have a yeastinfection? The best foods to eat with Candida. Well, Tom, this is going to be quite an interestingreply to your question because it's not just about what foods are the best foods to eatwith Candida. There are many different ways

we can answer the question and, unfortunately, many Candida diet websites, base a lot of their information around foods. Foods do forma very important consideration with yeast infections. But unfortunately, a lot of thesewebsites and sources of information don't contain the full picture. In fact, I'm absolutelystunned the longer I see patients, the more I realize that so many people can, in facteat fruit, can eat gluten, and can eat lots of bread. Even some patients can drink alcoholand still recover from a yeast infection. So there is no one law that comes down likea hammer that says, “You shall not eat this. You shall not eat that. But the guidelinesI'm going to give you now, Tom, will be based

on my experiences on many thousands of differentpatients. What I think works best for the general population. And I'll throw some moreinformation in along the line as we speak on situations other than foods.Let's just start by explaining a little bit about what is currently the whole idea withthe Candida diet. Most people will be quick to tell you that you've got to avoid anythingcontaining sugar or refined carbohydrates. That you've got to eat a diet that is quitehigh in proteins, preferably lean sources of protein and focus more on the green leafyvegetables. The general consensus is to avoid all forms of fruit and most forms of grain. In fact, it almost sounds a bit like a specific

carbohydrate kind of diet, doesn't it? It'sa paleoSCD diet combined. That's almost what this sounds like. There are no hard and fastrules, and I wrote about this extensively in Candida Crusher. However, when you're starting off with a Candida diet approach, the first thing I always getpeople to do is to do what I call a big clean up. So a big clean up means an assessmentof what you're currently eating, particularly if you haven't already made the changes towardthese types of foods, is to slowly wind down all your eating over a 14day period. By that,I mean cut out all forms of alcohol over a 14day period. Stop eating takeaway or refinedfoods, and start incorporating good foods

into the diet. What are the good foods? What are the best foods to eat when you've got a Candida yeastinfection? Well, the best foods are foods that support good digestion, that supportgood immune function, and that support the proliferation of beneficial bacteria in thedigestive system. They discourage dysbiotic bacteria and Candida, and they also discouragethe ability to the challenge the immune system. Because nearly all people with Candida haveleaky gut syndrome. They have intestinal permeability. Nearly all people I see with Candida haveSIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, and all patients I see with Candida have gotstress, which increases permeability umpteen

times.Focus on high quality proteins in your diet. Proteins are important to eat, particularlyif you chew them really well. Chew them well. And also, I believe it's important at thisstage to recommend that you take a good digestive enzymeprobiotic supplement at least twice,if not three times per day. When you've gone through the big clean up and you're goinginto the initial stages of a good Candida diet is to support your digestion with a verygood quality enzyme dietary supplement. Because the enzyme is going to help your stomach, the pancreas, and the small intestine. It's going to facilitate proper breakdown. It'sgoing to supply the body with some enzymes
