How to Cure Candida in 6 Steps

Hey, guys. Axe here, of functionalmedicine and founder of DrAxe . Today I'm going to share with you the exact diet, treatmentand supplements you need to take the clear Candida from your body. And this is what Ireally consider to be my SixStep Candida Cure Diet Protocol. And you're going to seeamazing results with this protocol. And let me say this first, what is Candida?Candida is the overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria in your body and it can cause somemajor symptoms that you want to get rid of. And so some of the symptoms of Candida caninclude any type of fatigue issue. If you struggle with chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, those can be related to Candida.

Any type of leaky gut issue. Leaky gut isintestinal permeability, where proteins like gluten can leak through your gut and causeinflammation of your body. So if you have food sensitivities or if you have digestiveissues like gas and bloating, also if you have any problem related to the thyroid, thosecan be warning signs you have Candida. Also if you get yeast in your body. If younotice, let's say, yeast or whiteness on your tongue or if you ever get chronic yeast infectionsor coming down with the cold and flu often, those can be warning signs that you have Candida. And, of course, also with Candida any sort of other digestive issues, like irritablebowel syndrome or chronic diarrhea or constipation

or even acid reflux, those are warning signsthat you might have Candida. And last but not least, is a sluggish metabolism. If you aren't losing weight and burning fat like you know you should be, those are warningsigns you could have Candida, along with actually even bad breath and lack of detoxification. Those are some major warning signs. So here are the six things you need to do to eliminateCandida fast. Number one, you need to stop consuming somuch sugar. Now, I know that's obvious. That's something that I think most of us realizeis that sugar feeds yeast in your body. But again, you have got to get rid of processedsugar, fruit juices, any sort of added sugar

to any sort of product sweetener. Even mostpackaged products and fast foods are also high in sugar. Even things like pasta saucesand crackers, you'd be surprised, but sugar is added to almost everything. So again, eliminate especially the processedsugar out of your diet. As a replacement, I recommend using a little bit of Stevia, which is a nocalorie natural sweetener and then about one to three teaspoons a day ofmanuka honey. Okay? Those are the sweeteners you should be using if you have Candida. Number two. You need to eliminate grains fromyour diet. Why? Because grains turn into sugar

and they also tend to be more inflammatory. And so again, getting those grains out of your diet, especially wheat products and glutencontaininggrains, that's step number two. Instead, do a lot more vegetables and maybe some starchycarbs. Number three thing you have to do to clearCandida from you system, is support your spleen. Now, this is cuttingedge information thata lot of people don't realize. And this is a practice in Ancient China that is oftenused by acupuncturists today. But they have found that the number one cause of Candidais a weakened spleen. And so if you have spleen issues, and spleen is responsible for digestionof the body, producing red blood cells in

your system. And so the spleen is a very importantorgan. In order to support the spleen, there area couple things you need to do. But really the spleen is supported by starchy foods, especially squash, things like sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and also even doing certaintypes of beans like lentils and mung beans. So again, getting some of those good starchycarbs. And that's really where your sweetness shouldcome from. A little bit of butternut squash, acorn squash, foods like that that has thatmild sweetness. That's the only sweet you should be really getting in your diet. Again, with no processed sugar and, again, very low

I've got a question here from a man calledJoel in Chicago, in the United States, and Joel is asking me if I can do a good, comprehensivetutorial on the Candida diet. Joel wants to know about the antiCandida diet. He wants to knowsome Candida recipes. He wants to know Candida foods to eat, Candida foods to avoid and allthose sorts of things.

It's also a part of my book. This report is worth atleast $20, if not more. It's yours for free. Just click on the link below and it will takeyou to a page where you can download that free report. I think you'll find it quitehandy. Joel, let's go into this Candida Crusher dietaryapproach. My Candida diet approach really involves three stages. Before I put peoplethrough the three stages, I generally like

them to go through a big cleanup. So we'lltidy up the diet first. Generally, the lifestyle and diet need a bit of a tidy up when peopleget serious about revitalizing their digestive function. If they really want to get well, they need to make some changes, but I'm not about making changes very quick with people.I prefer that they slowly make change. Slow changes and generally over a period of many, many weeks will usually mean that new habits become formed. New lifestyle and dietary habitsbecome formed. Then when these become formed, slowly theybecome permanent in your life. And when these habits become permanent, it means that thesehealthy habits will ensure that you don't

get a repeat of the old symptoms and thatyou stay well for life. That, to me, is what it's all about. Not just eradicating symptomswith pills or eradicating symptoms with a diet, but building incredible health and wellnessthrough making life long permanent changes. That's what we're all about. The big cleanupis something you can read about at yeastinfection , so be sure to check out yeastinfection .That's got about a thousand of my articles on that site.Let's look at stage one first. Stage one of the Candida Crusher diet approach is calledthe MEVY diet, meat, eggs, vegetables and yogurt. Let's look at that. Let's look atwhat the MEVY diet or the stage one approach

really encompasses. The first thing we'vegot to do, of course, on the MEVY, which you should have already done on the big cleanup,is to get rid of all the processed and junk foods out of your diet. If I go to your refrigeratorand open it up, am I going to find lots of jars and bottles there with all sorts of sweetsauces or foods that have been in there for many days or even weeks, they all need togo into the garbage can. You need to get rid of all of those. Have a good look at yourpantry and your kitchen bench and your freezer and start making some changes there. All ofthese things could do with a big cleanup themselves. Cut back on the amount of foods that you buywhen you go out in terms of takeaway food.

Stopping off somewhere and buying a pizzaor getting donuts or getting foods that are highly processed, you need to stop these habits.Because these are the habits that are not going to be really good if you want to recoverfrom a yeast infection or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, what we call SIBO. SIBOand Candida often go hand in hand. Avoid white sugar, white flour, soda drinks, takeawayfoods, beer, alcohol, wine, and all these sorts of things in general. Any kind of candiesor chocolates. These things all need to go. They just don't form any place in the digestivesystem if you want to recover from Candida. Include liberal amounts of fresh, unprocessed, and nutritional foods. A good thing to do

Is Buttermilk Good On Candida Diet

Greetings. Eric Bakker, naturopath from NewZealand, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of the Canxida range of dietary supplements.I've got a question today from a patient over in Japan. I get a few questions from Japanesepeople about buttermilk. This person wants to know if buttermilk is any good for someonewith a Candida yeast infection. Buttermilk is a very good product. Traditionally,it used to be milk that was left over after cheese making. But today, it's actually not. It's actually almost like a milk produced a bit like yogurt is. They'll add bacteriaor maybe lactic acid to it to give it like a sour kind of flavor. Buttermilk is actuallyvery good to have. Just bear in mind if you've

got a milk allergy, it may be a problem becauseit will still contain the beta casein protein in it, and that can affect your immune system. If you have a milk allergy like me, then it's probably not really a good idea to have buttermilkin your diet. If you don't have a milk allergy, however, there's nothing wrong with having some buttermilk in your diet from time to time, because it'squite a healthy food to have. It's got a nice tangy flavor about it. And again, common sense. If you've got a bad yeast infection, you need to avoid dairy products for quite a whilebecause they can really challenge your immune system. Just take these foods out initiallyfor the first month or so.

The low allergy diet or phase two of my Candidadiet includes the removal of cow's milk from the diet and usually yogurt as well. If you'vegot a major allergy for dairy products, then you want to take out cow's milk, yogurt, cream, and these sorts of things from your diet. Butter is generally always fine. I've neverseen butter allergies. You need to be cautious with cheese, too, if you've got a strong cow'smilk allergy. If you know you've got an allergy toward cow's milk or dairy, avoid buttermilk. If you don't have it, you can incorporate small amounts into your diet. However, to be safe as you're going through the stages of the Candida Crusher diet, thefirst stage is the MEVY diet, the meat, eggs,

vegetables, and yogurt. The second stage isthe low allergy diet and I usually take out things like buttermilk, cream, a lot of cheesesfrom the diet for a month or so, four to six weeks to allow the immune system a bit ofbreathing space. Because many people with Candida, in fact, have got leaky gut syndromeand buttermilk will not be good for people trying to recover from leaky gut.Yes, it is a good food. But you need to be cautious with it. If you know you've got anallergy, avoid it. Otherwise, incorporate small amounts into your diet and see how yougo. I hope that answers your question. Last thing I'll leave you with is buttermilkdoes have almost as good as yogurt a beneficial

effect on the intestinal tract for encouragingthe proliferation of good bacteria, especially if it's an organic buttermilk or one that'scertified organic or biodynamic and made using the correct organic methods, it's beneficial. Thanks for your attention.
