How to Cure Candida in 6 Steps

Hey, guys. Axe here, of functionalmedicine and founder of DrAxe . Today I'm going to share with you the exact diet, treatmentand supplements you need to take the clear Candida from your body. And this is what Ireally consider to be my SixStep Candida Cure Diet Protocol. And you're going to seeamazing results with this protocol. And let me say this first, what is Candida?Candida is the overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria in your body and it can cause somemajor symptoms that you want to get rid of. And so some of the symptoms of Candida caninclude any type of fatigue issue. If you struggle with chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, those can be related to Candida.

Any type of leaky gut issue. Leaky gut isintestinal permeability, where proteins like gluten can leak through your gut and causeinflammation of your body. So if you have food sensitivities or if you have digestiveissues like gas and bloating, also if you have any problem related to the thyroid, thosecan be warning signs you have Candida. Also if you get yeast in your body. If younotice, let's say, yeast or whiteness on your tongue or if you ever get chronic yeast infectionsor coming down with the cold and flu often, those can be warning signs that you have Candida. And, of course, also with Candida any sort of other digestive issues, like irritablebowel syndrome or chronic diarrhea or constipation

or even acid reflux, those are warning signsthat you might have Candida. And last but not least, is a sluggish metabolism. If you aren't losing weight and burning fat like you know you should be, those are warningsigns you could have Candida, along with actually even bad breath and lack of detoxification. Those are some major warning signs. So here are the six things you need to do to eliminateCandida fast. Number one, you need to stop consuming somuch sugar. Now, I know that's obvious. That's something that I think most of us realizeis that sugar feeds yeast in your body. But again, you have got to get rid of processedsugar, fruit juices, any sort of added sugar

to any sort of product sweetener. Even mostpackaged products and fast foods are also high in sugar. Even things like pasta saucesand crackers, you'd be surprised, but sugar is added to almost everything. So again, eliminate especially the processedsugar out of your diet. As a replacement, I recommend using a little bit of Stevia, which is a nocalorie natural sweetener and then about one to three teaspoons a day ofmanuka honey. Okay? Those are the sweeteners you should be using if you have Candida. Number two. You need to eliminate grains fromyour diet. Why? Because grains turn into sugar

and they also tend to be more inflammatory. And so again, getting those grains out of your diet, especially wheat products and glutencontaininggrains, that's step number two. Instead, do a lot more vegetables and maybe some starchycarbs. Number three thing you have to do to clearCandida from you system, is support your spleen. Now, this is cuttingedge information thata lot of people don't realize. And this is a practice in Ancient China that is oftenused by acupuncturists today. But they have found that the number one cause of Candidais a weakened spleen. And so if you have spleen issues, and spleen is responsible for digestionof the body, producing red blood cells in

your system. And so the spleen is a very importantorgan. In order to support the spleen, there area couple things you need to do. But really the spleen is supported by starchy foods, especially squash, things like sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and also even doing certaintypes of beans like lentils and mung beans. So again, getting some of those good starchycarbs. And that's really where your sweetness shouldcome from. A little bit of butternut squash, acorn squash, foods like that that has thatmild sweetness. That's the only sweet you should be really getting in your diet. Again, with no processed sugar and, again, very low

Does Microwaving Food Kill The Fungi

Thank you for checking out this tutorial. I'vegot a question here from a YouTube subscriber called Wilmore Benedictoff, and Wilmore'sasking me does microwaving food that contains yeast kill the fungi? If yes, should I eatit? Right, Wilmore, this would be a good question to answer to and explain. I'm not a huge fanat all of microwave food. In fact, I wrote about microwave cooking in Candida Crusher. You can read about that why I don't think it's the best kind of food for you to eat.I find it quite interesting that people tend to spend a lot of time selecting the bestkind of foods. They tend to avoid refined foods or processed foods. We realize that.Foods that contain pesticides or sprays. But

then a lot of people don't mind eating foodthat's contained in Styrofoam containers or those little Styrofoam cups or they'll wrapfood in aluminum foil. They'll put food in really hot ovens. They'll boil the hell outof food, and they'll even put it in microwave ovens. An experiment I did a long time ago when I was a student was to place some water in amicrowave oven, heat it up, and then use that microwaved water for a plant that I grow inmy house. And I had another similar plant that we gave just plain rainwater to, andthe difference was astounding. You could see week by week the foliage would shrivel up.The plant wasn't growing. And after about

three months, the plant that got the microwavewater had died. When you see those sorts of things happening, you start to realize what benefit have I got from eating food or drinking water or teaor anything that's been heated up in the microwave. What benefit is it going to do to my body?If it's going to kill a plant, it might end up killing some of your cells. We know thatmicrowave radiation is dangerous. We know about that with mobile phones, and we knowabout that with landline phones that we use that emit quite high radiation. And we alsoknow that microwaves leak, particularly after many years. You can actually get a detector, run it around a microwave that's on, and find

that it will leak radiation, so it's not thebest thing to have really in the kitchen and in the house, particularly with young children.I've had patients over the years that have seen me with brain tumors. One case in particulara lady in her 20s who had a tumor right here in the front of her brain, and one of herjobs was working in a day care center and putting baby bottles in a microwave and thenwarming it up on high for about a short burst of 60 seconds. She did this about 20 or 30times a day. After her brain surgery, the neurosurgeon actually asked her if she useda microwave oven because he'd seen those kind of tumors linked with microwave use. It's your choice if you want to use a microwave

heating up food. Another thing I want youto think about is microwaves destroy enzymes in foods. Enzymes are in planted based foodsand these enzymes actually help to degrade or rot the food, and that's why healthy freshfood you can only keep for a short period of time. Enzymes serve many different purposesin vegetables and fruits, but these are degraded and destroyed. And many health experts believethat the lack of enzymes in processed foods we eat is one of the reasons why only someof us live for half or even a third of our potential, particularly people who eat a lotof processed foods and deep fried things and things like that. But there are other reasons why microwaves

aren't that good for you either, and that'sthe high temperature will denature protein. When you take protein up to a very high temperature, you denature it. You create a problem with the amino acid bonds in the protein, whichmakes it very hard for your body to break those protein structures down and absorb it.Not the best idea really to use microwave cooking. But does it kill fungi? Well, I'm pretty well sure it would kill fungi, but I think you'dkill the food as well. And then with microwaves also, are you penetrating to the inner mostpart of the food. That's the other thing you have to ask yourself. Why would you want tomicrowave food that has a potential to have

Candida Foods To Eat Best Foods To Eat With Candida Diet

Greetings. It's Eric Bakker, naturopath fromNew Zealand and author of Candida Crusher. Thanks for checking out my tutorial today. Asyou can imagine, I get an incredible amount of emails from patients from all around theworld from many different countries, particularly from the United States of America. I get lotsof frequently asked questions. I've got a question here from a guy called Tom Rutherfordin Texas, and Tom is asking me, Eric, what are the best foods to eat if I have a yeastinfection? The best foods to eat with Candida. Well, Tom, this is going to be quite an interestingreply to your question because it's not just about what foods are the best foods to eatwith Candida. There are many different ways

we can answer the question and, unfortunately, many Candida diet websites, base a lot of their information around foods. Foods do forma very important consideration with yeast infections. But unfortunately, a lot of thesewebsites and sources of information don't contain the full picture. In fact, I'm absolutelystunned the longer I see patients, the more I realize that so many people can, in facteat fruit, can eat gluten, and can eat lots of bread. Even some patients can drink alcoholand still recover from a yeast infection. So there is no one law that comes down likea hammer that says, “You shall not eat this. You shall not eat that. But the guidelinesI'm going to give you now, Tom, will be based

on my experiences on many thousands of differentpatients. What I think works best for the general population. And I'll throw some moreinformation in along the line as we speak on situations other than foods.Let's just start by explaining a little bit about what is currently the whole idea withthe Candida diet. Most people will be quick to tell you that you've got to avoid anythingcontaining sugar or refined carbohydrates. That you've got to eat a diet that is quitehigh in proteins, preferably lean sources of protein and focus more on the green leafyvegetables. The general consensus is to avoid all forms of fruit and most forms of grain. In fact, it almost sounds a bit like a specific

carbohydrate kind of diet, doesn't it? It'sa paleoSCD diet combined. That's almost what this sounds like. There are no hard and fastrules, and I wrote about this extensively in Candida Crusher. However, when you're starting off with a Candida diet approach, the first thing I always getpeople to do is to do what I call a big clean up. So a big clean up means an assessmentof what you're currently eating, particularly if you haven't already made the changes towardthese types of foods, is to slowly wind down all your eating over a 14day period. By that,I mean cut out all forms of alcohol over a 14day period. Stop eating takeaway or refinedfoods, and start incorporating good foods

into the diet. What are the good foods? What are the best foods to eat when you've got a Candida yeastinfection? Well, the best foods are foods that support good digestion, that supportgood immune function, and that support the proliferation of beneficial bacteria in thedigestive system. They discourage dysbiotic bacteria and Candida, and they also discouragethe ability to the challenge the immune system. Because nearly all people with Candida haveleaky gut syndrome. They have intestinal permeability. Nearly all people I see with Candida haveSIBO or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, and all patients I see with Candida have gotstress, which increases permeability umpteen

times.Focus on high quality proteins in your diet. Proteins are important to eat, particularlyif you chew them really well. Chew them well. And also, I believe it's important at thisstage to recommend that you take a good digestive enzymeprobiotic supplement at least twice,if not three times per day. When you've gone through the big clean up and you're goinginto the initial stages of a good Candida diet is to support your digestion with a verygood quality enzyme dietary supplement. Because the enzyme is going to help your stomach, the pancreas, and the small intestine. It's going to facilitate proper breakdown. It'sgoing to supply the body with some enzymes
