I'm going to be talking about the signs and symptoms of an HP infection,so I've got my laptop open here. I'm looking at my ericbakker website. I've got anarticle on there called quot;Heartburn,quot; which is all about H. pylori, that is one of thechief symptoms. An interesting thing about helicobacter isit doesn't produce exactly the same symptomatology in every single patient. Some people developgastric ulceration, duodenal or gastric ulcers. The duodenal ulcer is further down the stomach.The gastric ulcer is a bit higher up.
Robin Warren, the chief pathologist whodid a huge amount of research on helicobacter in the early days, believed that 10 to 15percent of all people who get HP infections will go onto to develop ulcerations. Thinkabout that for a minute, 10 to 15 percent; 10 to 15 percent is a lot when you think abouthow many millions of people in the US are infected and other countries with this particularbug. If you think that the drug called Nexium,the acid blocker, in 2014 sold $6.4 billion US dollars. It makes me wonder how many ofthose billions of dollars have actually been treating people with helicobacter. They shouldn'thave been on this blasted drug in the first
place.The signs and symptoms are varied. It depends if the bacteria are stimulating overproductionand in some cases for reasons we don't really understand, can actually switch off production.The patient can develop achlorhydria or an absence of stomach acid. In other people,it could just mess the whole lot up. So it can either over produce or under produce ormess up your digestion. It could be Uncle Fred comingover or grandpa that says, quot;I can't eat them potatoes. Every time I eat those potatoes,I feel sick. I don't like garlic. Every time I have a piece of garlic, I feel like crap.I'm burping and I'm sick and everything.quot; If the person feels ill quite quickly aftereating a certain food, it may be a problem with helicobacter pylori.Bloating worse after meals. Feeling worse after meals or certain kinds of foods. Recurringabdominal pain, intestinal cramps, that's
a big one. This pain of helicobacter can makeyou think that you're having a heart attack. If you think where the stomach is and wherethe heart is, they're very close together. Many people, in fact, who do end up in theemergency room or get the ambulance are having indigestion. All could have a serious HP attackrather than a heart attack. It can be quite a sharp pain. You can actually think you'redying sometimes. The pain can be that intense. I've had many patients over the years tellme they ended up in the emergency ward and the said, quot;You've got heartburn. Gohome. Take this antacid. You'll be fine. There's nothing wrong with your heart. We checkedyour blood out, did an EKG, everything is
clear. Just go home.quot;Peptic or duodenal ulcers, which we've spoken about already in this series. Over 90 percentof all cases of peptic and duodenal ulcers are caused by helicobacter pylori. In rarecases, you can actually have a small tumor in the stomach producing acid, but those arereally rare cases. Burping, which can be pretty bad. You might have a relation that's gotactually a reputation for burping. Some people can burp the alphabet. I think I actuallysaw that in one of those Guinness records. If the burping is excessive and really overthe top, it could well be helicobacter. Remember what we said. It can produce an over acidityand also under acidity, so food can sit there
Is Turmeric Good For Candida

Turmeric is quite an interesting spice. I used to grow turmeric years ago when I livedin Australia. It belongs to the ginger.
It's got a very nice, sweet smelling whiteflower, almost a surreal sort of strong perfume about it. It's got a nice funny knobby root when youbreak it open. It's a deep golden yellow inside. Turmeric is a spice that's been used for about5,000 or 6,000 years now. Asian people have been using turmeric, ginger,garlic, lemongrass and these natural products in their food for so long. It's incredible.
The worst is just starting to click onto it. I really enjoyed fresh turmeric and I usedto cook it like ginger, just peel it a little bit and finely grate it and mix it in withegg dishes, meat dishes, and curry dishes. There is a lot of research that has been conductedon the benefits of turmeric. Especially, curcumin, which is one of theactive compounds in this product. When you look at it, it's a very brightlycolored natural occurring food. Foods that have very powerful natural colorstend to have a very powerful antioxidant property about them, antiaging property about them.
We find the same thing in red chilies andblueberries and foods like that, avocado. Brightly colored foods tend to have powerfulbenefits for the health. Curcumin tends to work best in a fatsolubleenvironment. If you're going to use the turmeric powder,which is not as strong as a high curcumin based raw material and dietary supplement,you're best to mix it with coconut milk. Coconut milk, fat or butter, olive oil. You can simply make up a drink yourself forquite a healthy antifungal drink, just half a can of coconut milk.
You can experiment with milk or crï¿½me tosee which tastes better for you. Get a good brand. I find the ones from the Pacific are usuallygood, the Samoan coconut products are the best you can get from the island called Samoa. Half a can, half a teaspoon of turmeric powder,half a teaspoon of ginger powder, you can put a few drops of vanilla essence, cinnamonalso is very nice with it. Cinnamon, turmeric and ginger combine verywell together. You can put a bit of stevia powder in there,but I like vanilla essence.
Put about 5 or 10 drops of vanilla essence. Blend that all up. That's a beautiful drink. Good antifungal drink. Turmeric powder is used by some women as aface mask. It has a very good antioxidant, rejuvenatingproperties to the skin. Turmeric powder can also be used and sprinkledon cuts or burns or stings. It's incredible how fast a wound will healwhen turmeric powder is sprinkled on it.
