How to Cure Candida in 6 Steps

Hey, guys. Axe here, of functionalmedicine and founder of DrAxe . Today I'm going to share with you the exact diet, treatmentand supplements you need to take the clear Candida from your body. And this is what Ireally consider to be my SixStep Candida Cure Diet Protocol. And you're going to seeamazing results with this protocol. And let me say this first, what is Candida?Candida is the overgrowth of yeast and bad bacteria in your body and it can cause somemajor symptoms that you want to get rid of. And so some of the symptoms of Candida caninclude any type of fatigue issue. If you struggle with chronic fatigue or adrenal fatigue, those can be related to Candida.

Any type of leaky gut issue. Leaky gut isintestinal permeability, where proteins like gluten can leak through your gut and causeinflammation of your body. So if you have food sensitivities or if you have digestiveissues like gas and bloating, also if you have any problem related to the thyroid, thosecan be warning signs you have Candida. Also if you get yeast in your body. If younotice, let's say, yeast or whiteness on your tongue or if you ever get chronic yeast infectionsor coming down with the cold and flu often, those can be warning signs that you have Candida. And, of course, also with Candida any sort of other digestive issues, like irritablebowel syndrome or chronic diarrhea or constipation

or even acid reflux, those are warning signsthat you might have Candida. And last but not least, is a sluggish metabolism. If you aren't losing weight and burning fat like you know you should be, those are warningsigns you could have Candida, along with actually even bad breath and lack of detoxification. Those are some major warning signs. So here are the six things you need to do to eliminateCandida fast. Number one, you need to stop consuming somuch sugar. Now, I know that's obvious. That's something that I think most of us realizeis that sugar feeds yeast in your body. But again, you have got to get rid of processedsugar, fruit juices, any sort of added sugar

to any sort of product sweetener. Even mostpackaged products and fast foods are also high in sugar. Even things like pasta saucesand crackers, you'd be surprised, but sugar is added to almost everything. So again, eliminate especially the processedsugar out of your diet. As a replacement, I recommend using a little bit of Stevia, which is a nocalorie natural sweetener and then about one to three teaspoons a day ofmanuka honey. Okay? Those are the sweeteners you should be using if you have Candida. Number two. You need to eliminate grains fromyour diet. Why? Because grains turn into sugar

and they also tend to be more inflammatory. And so again, getting those grains out of your diet, especially wheat products and glutencontaininggrains, that's step number two. Instead, do a lot more vegetables and maybe some starchycarbs. Number three thing you have to do to clearCandida from you system, is support your spleen. Now, this is cuttingedge information thata lot of people don't realize. And this is a practice in Ancient China that is oftenused by acupuncturists today. But they have found that the number one cause of Candidais a weakened spleen. And so if you have spleen issues, and spleen is responsible for digestionof the body, producing red blood cells in

your system. And so the spleen is a very importantorgan. In order to support the spleen, there area couple things you need to do. But really the spleen is supported by starchy foods, especially squash, things like sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and also even doing certaintypes of beans like lentils and mung beans. So again, getting some of those good starchycarbs. And that's really where your sweetness shouldcome from. A little bit of butternut squash, acorn squash, foods like that that has thatmild sweetness. That's the only sweet you should be really getting in your diet. Again, with no processed sugar and, again, very low

The Science Behind Candida 1

The Science Behind Candida By JeffreyMcCombs, DC This is a transcript of The Science BehindCandida webcast with Jeff McCombs, founder of The McCombs Plan For Health, Vitality Transformation.Candida Definition When we talk about Candida, it's good to havea definition of Candida, and it's also good to have an understanding of the human body. That, in itself, is pretty much impossible, as much as we can attempt it. There's a lotwe know about the human body, but as I tell most of my patients and most people I talkto, we know probably about 1% of what goes on in the body, and that's why everythingis such a mystery, and that's why some things

work, some things don't. That's why you haveso little understanding. That's one of the main reasons why drugs don't work, becausethey don't really know what's taking place in the body once you give somebody a drug, and therefore, you have all these side effects. They don't know really why we have those sideeffects. In terms of Candida, what we're doing is we'retalking about an organism, which lives inside the intestinal tract, or commonly referredto as the gut. The intestinal tract, in humans, contains the small intestine and large intestine. The length of that intestinal tract is approximately 28 feet, 25 to 28 feet in most people. The intestinal tract has a vast surface area

inside, which allows it to absorb a lot ofnutrients. They have what are called villi, which are little fingerlike projections, and this increases the surface area of the intestinal tract to be approximately 200 squaremeters, or roughly the size of a tennis court, which is the common analogy for that amountof area. Within this 25 to 28foot length tract, we have 100 trillion cells. Well, that'sa number that most people really can't relate to, but a good way to relate to it is thatthe human body has 10 trillion cells, so there are actually 10 times more microorganismsthat live within this 25 to 28foot tract than there are in the rest of the body.Human cells are much larger than the microorganisms,

than the bacteria, the fungus, the yeast, the mold, the virus, the parasites, which make up all these microorganisms that livein the gut. Now all of these microorganisms have coevolved over the years. This usuallyhappens right at birth. Since then they have coevolved to exist together.Good and Bad Bacteria So many times, we hear people talk about beneficialbacteria, bad bacteria. When we think of a healthy intestinal tract, it's really alltends to be good. They're all working together in concert. There's a strong immune system, which helps to regulate and keep everything in check. 70% of the immune system of thebody is in the digestive tract, so if we have

an imbalance here, that is most of the immunesystem of the body, so we have to really consider what happens in the gut as the way the restof the health of the body will © Copyright 20102011, All Rights Reserved, Jeffrey S. McCombs, DC Page 4 of 130 go, and much of what happens in the gut, asfar as all these bacteria, microorganisms, helps to develop our immune system and helpsto prime the immune system. And science shows us that even as immune cellsare being produced in distant sites such as the bone marrow, it is what happens in thegut which helps to determine how these cells are produced, how they will function lateron in their life, as short as it is. So we

have 100 trillion cells, and what we're focusingon are not really bacteria and Candida, but everything together. The human gut has been called the densest ecosystem on the planet, and much of the advancesin science are based on technology that we were using in dense ecosystems like the Amazonjungle and other rainforest habitats. We found that if we took that technology and appliedit to the gut, we were able to find out more and more about the gut and about the microorganismsthat live there. And there are even more new advances that are taking place in nanotechnology, which are going to allow us to see what exactly is happening inside the cells. And a goodpoint here is we don't know exactly what is

Avocado Candida Diet Is Avocado Good For Candida

Hi there. Eric Bakker, naturopath from NewZealand, author of Candida Crusher. A question I get asked from time to time through emailis quot; Are avocados good for you to eat when you have a Candida yeast infection?quot; Theyare. Avocados are, in fact, probably one of my top favorite foods. I've two avocado treesgrowing, I just love avocados, and I'll explain to you why I love them.Because they're such a healthy food. They're rated by the Guinness book of records as theworld's healthiest food, so they rank right at the top. They're probably in the top twoor three, if not the top food, for health. They contain a lot of fat in them. Up to 30percent of the weight of an avocado is fat,

but it's a good fat called oleic acid. It'sa very healthy fat. This kind of fat is not a bad fat. It's a monounsaturated fat. It'snot a saturated fat. It's not going to make you sick and fat like a bowl of fries willor a burger or something like that. But the thing is it's also nature's big greenvitamin pill. It contains tons of nutrients. It's got folate in it. It's got zinc in it,manganese, biotin, B vitamins; the list goes on and on. It's almost like a big green multivitamin. And they're so creamy and tasty, the texture. I can't understand how people can not likeavocados. There's nothing not to like about the avocado when you think about it.It's also a very good food to help curb appetite.

There is a misconception still with many peoplethat avocados make you fat. In fact, they don't make you fat. They make you skinny. They actually block appetite. So the manganese and the zinc in them stop the fat from beingstored in the body. It's important. And the biotin and folate, in fact, allow the conversionof fat to energy, so they make you energetic and prevent the storage of bad fat. They alsocontain a lot of fiber, and they're great for beneficial bacteria. All the good reasonswhy you should have them when you've got a yeast infection. They're a fruit. Not a vegetable. So they're one of the few fruits that you can enjoy through all stages of the CandidaCrusher diet.

The avocado is a fantastic food. There aredifferent types. The Hass variety has got the bubbly black skin when it's ripe. TheFuerte has got a green skin when ripe, and that's my favorite. It's a very creamy one.If you haven't got an avocado tree and you live in a subtropical area, especially ifthere's no frost, plant an avocado tree, get a grafted one. They're really good. They getto be huge in size, but you're going to really enjoy avocados when you grow them becauseyou can eat tons of them. Make up your own guacamole. You can even bake them and stuffthem with coconut. You can do all sorts of things with them. You can even make avocadoice cream.

Are they okay to eat on the Candida diet? They're sublime to eat on the Candida diet. And if you don't mind avocado, the taste, and the texture, I recommend you eat at least one avocado per day. And you watch what happensafter three months. Your bowels improve. Your sleep improves. Your energy improves. Everythingwill improve just with the addition of that avocado. Start small again, maybe a quarteror a half of an avocado and build up. Nothing wrong with avocados. I fully endorse them.I hope that answers some questions about the applicability of avocados in with the Candidadiet. The fruits you can eat, avocado, of course, blueberries, green apple. You cantry kiwi fruit, so a small kiwi fruit every

day should be fine to eat as well. And pomegranateis another fruit that I endorse on the Candida Crusher diet. Try those out for size.Don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
